The United Way of Camden County JAWS Youth Fund is an initiative serving at-risk youth throughout Camden County and the Delaware Valley region. This partnership was created over ten years ago by United Way of Camden County and the family of Ron Jaworski, ESPN’s Monday Night Football Analyst and former NFL Eagles Great.
United Way and the Jaworski Family are committed to giving children a better life by creating opportunities for them to be successful. Through special events fundraising, the United Way JAWS Youth Fund has delivered over $2.5 million to over 70 non-profit organizations providing services to children ages 7-18. These programs must provide clear goals and demonstrated outcomes.
“The NFL has made a strong commitment to the United Way, and as a former player I have learned the power of the United Way network,” said Ron. “Along with my family, I have continued that commitment because of the wide spectrum of people we can help through the United Way. I invite everyone to be part of the change. By giving, advocating and volunteering—we can all LIVE UNITED.”

Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Challenge
This star-studded tournament is the marquis event in the annual Jaws Youth fund calendar. This year marks the 25th Silver Anniversary of the event. Hosted by Harrah’s Resort and Atlantic City County Club, this exciting weekend includes a Poker Tournament, Celebrity Shoot Out, Pairings Party and Celebrity Pro-Am. This year’s tournament will be May 16-18.
Pulte Homes JAWS Youth Fund Golf Tournament
Entering its third year of success, the Pulte Tournament has delivered over $200K to programs served by the United Way Jaws Youth Fund. This tournament is driven by the generosity of Pulte Homes, their vendors and various other supporters. This tournament will be Wednesday, June 17 at Valley Brook Country Club.
Jaws Youth Fund Family Fitness Festival
This year will be the first annual Jaws Fitness Festival in beautiful Stone Harbor on Sunday, June 28. The day will be highlighted by a 5K Run-Walk-Stroll and a fitness festival immediately following. The Jaws Youth Fund Family Fitness Festival is not about speed or endurance, but about celebrating health and wellness in any form.
Jaws Youth Fund Celebrity Golf Classic
Held annually in October, the Celebrity Golf Classic has a tradition of bringing together Camden County businesses and JAWS Youth Fund supporters for a day of fun at Valley Brook Country Club that delivers big resources to Camden County youth.
